I honestly have not done or achieved anything special in this life to say I "deserve" a free flight to Earth 2.

I am just 1 of 6 billion people on this Earth.

Maybe I am 1 of 12 billion people on Earth 2.

There are so many unknowns that it is quite thought provoking and intriguing on every level possible.

Every question I have about this Earth and this life and the history of life of Earth here can be quantified.

I would be just as curious as finding myself on Earth 2 as I would be trying to find answers that could be resourceful on our Earth.

Or lets assume Earth 2 is completely different from what the scientists thought.

Nobody would know besides myself and the other winners of the flight to Earth 2.

I want to travel out of this planet.

I've always felt like I need to get out and explore.

Maybe get my eyes open to another truth, reality.

New dimensions and frontiers.I have a relatively happy life here on this earth.

But I keep wondering what's in other momentums of space-time.I would be willing to do this trip for the sake of science, truth and knowledge.

Yours sincerely.Pedro

I should win the trip to EARTH 2 because I work to promote world peace!

What better person to send to EARTH 2 than a person who has spent most of his life working to promote international peace.

How do I do this?

I send daily messages on the computer to government leaders worldwide to remind them to support the United Nations International day of peace September 21 for the purpose of problem solving.

I believe most people have war because there is a serious problem and they think they can solve it only with military escalation when the truth of the matter is that the same energy and money they use to cause a war could be used to answer the problem that they are wanting to fight about.

This is probably the reason that North Korea is not more aggressive in bombing Japan but only shooting missiles in the direction of Japan.

They are saving money, not killing people while at the same time letting Japanese people understand very clearly that do not want anymore Japanese imperialist aggression against North Korea people who believe strongly in communist government.

So why I should win the trip is that I will travel with my major objective to promote peace and perhaps gain knowledge about problems that we are experiencing here on EARTH 1 that will help us promote world peace for the people of this planet.

Also my second reason is to visit EARTH 2 is for the purpose to help solve some of their problems that may have been created from people from EARTH 1.

Why I should win this trip?

I believe my trip will help save people's lives.

Sincerely, John Nelson, Peace Activist United States EARTH 1 jnelson97403@yahoo.com

The doppelganger was introduced into culture with Goethe, I think, and the idea was it was a bad omen if you were to see your doppelganger.

For me, I pushed completely the opposite [idea].

I think we, as humans, have this despearate yearning to connect, and we are so alone, no matter how many people we know, our close friends or whatever, we are ultimately alone.

And I think there's a yearning to not be alone.

And so to confront someone who has your shared history and all your secrets...

I think there would be the greatest amount of empathy.

Director/co-writer Mike Cahill (Boxers + Ballerinas) teams with producer/co-writer Brit Marling to challenge our concepts of reality and redemption with this romantic sci-fi drama about a radiant astrophysics student who endeavors to travel to Earth 2, a newly discovered mirror of our own home planet.

Rhoda Williams (Marling) was driving in her car and listening to the radio when the DJ announced the discovery of Earth 2, which had just appeared from the other side of the sun.

Gazing out her window at the newly discovered planet, Rhoda neglectfully careens into a minivan carrying a small family.

Everyone but the father is killed instantly, and Rhoda is sentenced to four years in prison.

Upon emerging, the repentant reckless driver finds herself drawn to the lone survivor.

Meanwhile, Rhoda learns of an essay contest to win a seat on a civilian space shuttle to Earth 2.

Perhaps, on that strangely familiar planet, an alternate version of herself exists -- one that has made different choices, and followed a different life path.

The only way she will ever find out is to win the contest and secure her seat on a ride into the great unknown. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
